Why: Sudden Cardiac Arrest is the number one cause of death in student athletes. The organization is committed to protecting hearts and saving lives especially considering Damar Hamlin’s collapse on Monday night football and due to an uptick in cardiac deaths in children. Simon’s Heart is dedicated to preventing cardiac death in children.
As part of the Smart Heart Sports Coalition launched in honor of Buffalo Bills Player Damar Hamlin, Simon’s Heart will activate the CPR Jukebox at the 2024 PRO BOWLGAMES PRESENTED BY VERIZON at Camping World Stadium on Sunday, February 4th, 2024.
As part of the 2024 PRO BOWLGAMES PRESENTED BY VERIZON activation, Simon’s Heart has launched a campaign for fans to vote for their favorite NFL team city to receive an AED with the goal that every city will receive an AED before Superbowl 2025. bit.ly/gotaedprobowl
