Dear Friends p>
This year, Simon’s Heart is marking a significant milestone— our 20th anniversary. This also means that Simon should have been twenty years old. In 2005, two grieving parents lifted up by a group of friends came together to honor a baby boy. Our intention was to prevent other families from losing a child to a detectable and treatable heart condition.
As we look back, that group grew exponentially, which is the reason we have reached this milestone. No doubt, our longevity is admirable, but the accomplishments are remarkable. Together, we’ve saved and changed lives by screening hearts, donating AEDs, training coaches, teaching students chest-compressions, passing laws, sharing data for research.
Thank you for your commitment to protect hearts.
Warmly,
Phyllis & Darren Sudman
