CHADDS FORD — Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union Foundation announced this week that eight nonprofit organizations in the Delaware Valley have been selected as recipients of the 2024 Community Nonprofit Grant Award. These grants are aimed at supporting programs and projects that drive measurable, sustainable improvements in the communities the foundation serves.
Each of the 2024 grantees exemplifies a commitment to addressing critical needs and enhancing the quality of life for those they serve. From educational support to essential services, these nonprofits are making a profound impact on the lives of thousands across the Delaware Valley, the foundation said.
Chester ExChange, Chester: Empowering young minds through education, Chester ExChange will spend the grant to purchase essential learning materials such as workbooks, online programs, Chromebooks and computer supplies for early learners in their tutoring program. This initiative helps close the education gap for children in underserved communities.
