For the past five years, Simon Sudman has been been the motivation behind every heart screening. That changed today. Simon Prushan, a student at Radnor Middle School, brought a screening to his school as part of his bar mitzvah project. We were blown away by his leadership, maturity and commitment. He organized a meeting and made a presentation to the Superintendent. He hung posters around the schools and the town of Wayne. He gathered interest and support from local businesses. His family and friends volunteered to run the screening. Today, screened 284 students and raised over $1,500. Today, was a different kind of screening. We are a different kind of organization now. We have two Simons.
